Have you ever thought to yourself, I can’t hear God? In a world filled with noise—social media, friends, pressures, and expectations, it can be hard to know if God is speaking, let alone what He’s saying. Louder will help students recognize God’s voice. This series will guide students to discover what it looks like to hear from God, to know the power behind His voice, to know that He will never speak shame and fear into their hearts, and to learn how to respond when God speaks.

  • "LOUDER" IS PART OF YM360’S SERMON SERIES LINE OF RESOURCES AND IS IDEAL FOR:

    • Any large group setting
    • Mid-week youth service
    • "Master teacher” format

"LOUDER" COVERS THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES AND PASSAGES:

    • God Often Speaks in the Stillness and the Quiet (1 Samuel 3:1-11; 19-21) | A young boy named Samuel hears God’s voice for the first time. It doesn’t come in a loud, dramatic moment but in a quiet whisper. In this session, students will explore how to tune out distractions and listen for God’s still, small voice.

    • Session 2 – God’s Voice is All Powerful (Genesis 1; Mark 5) | With just a few words from God, the entire world was formed. With just the sound of Jesus’ voice, a young girl was brought back to life. In this session, students will see that God’s voice is all-powerful.

    • Session 3 – The Voice of God is not the Voice of Shame and Fear (Romans 8:1-4) | God’s voice is not one of shame or fear, but of love, grace, and redemption. When the enemy tries to fill our minds with lies, we are reminded that in Christ, there is no condemnation. In this session, we’ll help students discover how to be reminded of that and how to listen to God’s truth.

    • Session 4 – When God Speaks, We Need to Answer (John 10:27-28) | Communication is a two-way street. When God speaks, our response matters. First, we listen because He knows us. Then, we respond with obedience and trust.
