What teenager doesn’t experience tough times? Whether it’s the relatively run-of-the-mill relational issues that plague high schoolers or bigger issues such as divorce, or the death of a loved one, teenagers have their share of struggles. Knowing where to turn in troubled times can be a challenge. How refreshing, then, to know that Jesus spoke extensively on the challenges we face, and how we can bring our cares to God in trying times.

Jesus and Tough Times: A 4-Lesson Bible Study, one of the 13 Jesus Studies Bible studies, will help you teach your students:

  • That when they experience tough times, they should express their emotions to God in real, honest ways
  • That faith in Jesus and His ability to lead them through trials is what will get them through tough times
  • That Jesus stands ready to offer comfort to them in the midst of their tough times
  • That when Jesus ultimately delivers them from tough times, their response should be thankfulness and praise

Teach Jesus and Tough Times to your students and help challenge them to seek God out when life gets tough.

  • Secure your next year of Bible study strategy today with the Jesus Studies 52-Week Strategy

Fears every Youth Worker has when selecting a year-long Bible Study:

    • The fear of locking into a Bible study that looks good on the surface but doesn't go any deeper than surface-level
    • The fear of being a few weeks into a study and it not meeting the expectations you set
    • The fear of picking a study that doesn't ultimately speak into the lives of your students

It doesn't have to be this way.

You don’t need to be reminded of the issues teenagers deal with as they try to live out their faith in a world that’s often opposed to their core beliefs. Navigating these issues can be rough. Teenagers get so many mixed messages; the world says one thing, their friends may say another. And we hope they know enough about their faith to know how to make sense of it all.

The Jesus Studies, a 52-week Bible study strategy, cut through the confusion, teaching your students a Christ-centered look at the major issues they deal with in their lives.

These are not watered-down, topical Bible studies. These studies reveal how Jesus weighs in on the very issues your students are confronted with on a daily basis. Your students will learn to see life through the person of Christ.

Your students will journey through the following concepts: Jesus and Identity, Your Faith, Jesus and Culture, Jesus and Loving Others, Jesus and Tough Times, Jesus and Your Image, Jesus and Stress, Jesus and Forgiveness, Jesus and Influence, Jesus and Relationships, Jesus and Your Future, Jesus and Mean People, and Jesus and Stuff.

Teach The Jesus Studies to equip your students to see the relevant issues of their lives through the words of Jesus.
