The Bible, however, teaches a very different worldview, one that is entirely counter-cultural to this type of thinking. According to the Bible, it’s Jesus who should be our focus and priority. The writers of the New Testament and early disciples understood this. Their time with Jesus helped see their lives as a small piece in a much larger work of God.
