This full-time staff position will assist the Worship Pastor in planning and leading services at Bay Area Church, while also equipping and developing the next generation of worship leaders at Bay Area Church and Bay Area Christian School.
What You'll Do:

Assist in leading and coordinating multi-generational worship services for the church and school, including Sunday services, chapels, Student Midweek, and special events.

Collaborate with the Worship Pastor and team to plan worship sets and ensure an atmosphere of worship excellence that glorifies God and engages our congregation.

Play a key role in youth worship initiatives, providing opportunities for students to develop their talents and worship experiences.

Lead and support worship teams, providing guidance and training to musicians and vocalists.
- Help manage technical aspects of worship in coordination with the production team.

You have experience in leading worship in a church or ministry setting.

You possess musical proficiency (vocals and instrumental) and are comfortable leading from the stage.

(The "4B Area" refers to the geographic area of Southeast Houston from the Beltway to the Beach and the Bay to Brazoria County.)
Our church has a long history in this region; it was originally planted 137 years ago as the first church on the mainland of Galveston County. The leadership structure is elder-led, staff-managed, and congregation-approved.
Not only do we have 1,100+ joining us to worship each week, but we also host nearly 1,000 PreK-12 students in our on-campus private school each day during the school year. Bay Area Christian School has been faithfully educating students for over 50 years.
