Mission City Church is a multi-location church in the greater San Antonio, TX area. Our church has continued to see rapid growth as we reach more communities and see lives transformed. Our mission is to “engage people where they are with the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead them into lives of transformation” and this mission drives who we are and what we do as a church. Averaging close to 3,000 on a weekend across three locations, we are growing quickly and our team is too!
As part of the Student Ministry team at Mission City Church, the Girls Minister will be responsible for implementing ministry for Middle School and High School girls consistent with Mission City Church Student Ministry strategies. This includes performing a variety of ministerial and administrative tasks related to day-to-day ministry, weekly student gatherings, relationship development with girls in and out of the Student Ministry, events and trips, and church-wide events.
This role places high value on discipleship of girls, creating and developing Girls Events for students, and having a strong presence in the lives of students outside of the church and in schools. The Girls Minister will report directly to the Campus Pastor for leadership and performance management while working alongside other Student Ministry staff to engage students where they are with the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead them into lives of transformation.
