Run To Me is a spoken word drama that reminds us of the character of God and His power in our lives. The actors share Scripture describing the character and nature of God through the many names of God listed in Scripture. In the end, students are reminded that God is an ever-present hope in their life as they surrender all of who they are to Him.

Using a video game as an illustration for life, Pause is a comedic and heart-warming look at teenage relationships and how to deal with disappointment and failure. Sometimes life seems easy and everything goes the ‘right’ way, other times, it doesn’t. No matter what we face, there are moments when we need to pause and find where God is working in our lives and follow Him, even when that means surrendering things that we want or love. Only in true surrender do we find the direction and purpose that we seek.

“He looked down and saw me…I mean really saw me. I was healed, He had healed me. The leprosy was gone and with it, the years of shame and isolation.”

 He Saw Me is a combination of three Biblical characters woven together: The woman at the well, the woman with the issue of blood, and the leper. Amid their loneliness and pain, Jesus entered their story and saw them for who they were, and who they could become! Students will learn of the power and love of Jesus as He sees us all, no matter where we find ourselves.

“If the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again so that I could be saved, He does for the Huaorani too. Whenever my husband would be afraid, I would hear him say ‘He is not fool to give what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose.’”

 He is No Fool is a fictional retelling of the events following the martyrdom of missionaries Jim Elliot and Nate Saint. Following their death, a reporter visited the missionary’s wives in Ecuador to tell the story. Through this story, we hear historically accurate details of the mission work to evangelize the Huaorani tribe, as Elizabeth Elliot and Marjorie Saint express their devotion to the Lord and their love for the Huaorani tribe.

The Lost Trilogy is a light-hearted re-telling of the parable of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Lost Son. The actors perform as narrators, storytellers, and characters that creatively portray the story of each parable. Each parable points to God’s heart for the lost and the celebration that occurs when the lost are found.

Root For the Home Team is a spoken word piece that illustrates the difference between how we celebrate our passion for sports or our sports idols, and how we celebrate the work of Christ in the lives of those around us. This script points us towards seeking those that are lost, emphasizing the importance of our role in leading people into a life-giving relationship with Jesus and the eternal celebration of the lost becoming found.

"We are here in the East of Eden living in the aftershock of our rebellion, grappling with the consequences of what we chose, and what we gave away.”

East of Eden is a spoken word piece that depicts all that was lost during the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Illustrating the joy and beauty of God’s creation through the eyes of Adam and Eve, we also see the devastating nature of sin and the loss of relationship with God the Father. In the end, the question is posed of how we can restore that broken relationship and find our way back to the Father.

This piece contains two fractured monologues from a man and a woman, both who has a distorted view of self. The concept of reflection, reflecting and what it means to be truly seen are themes throughout this piece. In the midst of the two monologues there is also the personification of Truth who speaks the text of Psalm 139.
