Youth Worker BOOST: Total Access

Youth Worker BOOST: Total Access

ym360 knows youth workers. We know what an incredibly rewarding, yet incredibly challenging job youth ministry can be. There are days when your spirits are sky-high, and there are days when you could use a bit of a “pick me up” from God's Word . . . That's why we're happy to offer Youth Worker Boost, one of the many valuable resources on the ym360 Blog.

Boost is a short, weekly piece of encouragement designed to, well, “boost” your spirits and encourage you as you minister to students. We consider it yet another great opportunity to serve you and your ministry.

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him."--1 John 3:1

Back in the late 1970’s when Jimmy Carter was President, a visitor to the White House recalled seeing Carter’s young daughter Amy running from room to room. Those who tour the White House must walk only in designated areas. And their every move is monitored by Secret Service agents. Yet Amy could go wherever she wished. The reason she had total access inside the White House was because she was the daughter of the President.

We have the wonderful privilege of being called the children of God.

We have total access to God because of what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross. When the strains of being a youth worker threaten to bring you down, remind yourself that you are royalty! You're a child of the Living God! You have access to the Creator of the Universe.

You can approach God any time you wish because you have total and complete access.

Our prayer for you: Our prayer for you today is that no matter how tough things get, you will remember your true identity as a child of God.
