    Kurt has been in youth ministry since 1988 and currently leads the student ministry teams at Saddleback Church, which includes 15 local and 4 international campuses. In addition to his role at Saddleback, Kurt enjoys encouraging other youth workers and has created a variety of books and resources with that goal in mind. Kurt and his wife Rachel have two incredible adult children, Kayla and Cole. They also have two adorable grandkids, June and Miller. Kurt is an Elder at Saddleback Church, where he is also the Pastor of NextGen Ministries (Birth – College Age). He has authored many books and loves to surf.
