Trainer:
Dr. Jody Dean, Assistant Professor for Christian Education, Director of Mentoring Programs in Christian Education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Dean has years of ministry experience including children, youth, collegiate, and adult ministries and specializes in church administration. He is the Regional Dean for Louisiana and Mississippi extension centers for NOBTS. His research has focused on ministry leadership specifically in the area of church administration, discipleship, and risk management. This research led him to co-author a book entitled “PROTECT.” Dr. Dean has continued to serve the local church for over twenty years in the areas of discipleship and administration. His ministerial experience has focused on age-graded ministry, discipleship, and church administration. He frequently teaches at conferences and training events in these areas in churches, regional training events, state conventions, and organizations for ministers in the local church. Dr. Dean is married to Emily and they have two children Lydia and James.
