And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” – Ezekiel 36:26-27
We crave an identity. A name. Something that will give us the worth, value, importance, and significance we so desire. But more often than not, we feel the exact opposite. Lost. Insignificant. Worthless. Unidentified.
Your students are no strangers to this. Even though they’ll try to fill this void with many things – what they do, say, think, wear, who they date, where they go…you get the point…it will never satisfy them. And that’s because their true identity will never be found in anything this world can offer. It can only be found in one Person.
In Unidentified, your students will uncover why they struggle with feeling unidentified, what it means to find their identity in Christ, and how they’re called to live in that new identity. Your students will be confronted with the life-changing truth that, by grace and through faith, Jesus exchanges our sinful identities for His perfect, righteous one.
