Named – Teaching Series
Named is a four-session series that helps students see that their identity doesn’t come from the names the world gives them or the ones they give themselves. Each week, students will be reminded that God made them, names them, sees them, and knows them.
What's Covered in Named?
· This session helps students see that from the very beginning, God made every person to reflect His image and care for His world. Students will be challenged to live out that identity by reflecting God well and caring for what’s in front of them.
· This session helps students see that what God says about them carries more weight than what others say or what they believe about themselves. Students will be challenged to remember that God is with them and to take their next step in faith.
· This session helps students see that God looks at the heart. We often choose and value people based on what can be seen, not what’s inside. Students will be challenged to be honest with God about what’s in their hearts, and to trust Him to make it new.
· This session helps students see that God already knows who they really are, even beneath the versions of themselves they perform for others. Students will be challenged to stop pretending with God and trust Him.
