Aside from King David, your students probably don’t know much about the Old Testament kings of Israel and Judah. They may not realize that even though these men were appointed to lead God’s people, they weren’t always the best examples of righteousness or godliness. They were normal people who made mistakes, needed to grow and mature, and had to make tough decisions. Your students have more in common with these kings than they might think, so what can we learn from their lives that will help us be more faithful in ours?
Kings: Walking With The Leaders of God's People
Kings is a four-session sermon series that will walk through key moments in the lives of four kings of Israel and Judah. Kings will teach your students to wait on God’s timing, take ownership of their faith, consider the voices they listen to, and be consistently faithful in their walk with the Lord.
