JJ was attacked by a 9 foot bull shark while swimming in the ocean near the Florida Keys. He survived the attack, but lost the lower portion of his right leg. Throughout the accident and the recovery, JJ showed courage and faith ultimately returning to the spot of the attack to face and conquer his fear. His is a story of faith, joy, and strength in the midst of crisis.
