LEARN.

As Easter approaches, most of our families find our schedules filling up, and the pace of life just speeds up. Often, we just don’t realize how easily this meaningful season can be reduced to just another set of activities. But Easter is an invitation to slow down and reflect on what truly matters, on the rhythms shaping our homes, and on the person of Jesus. For parents of young children, this reflection begins with us. Our focus, our decisions, and the space we create in our homes quietly form our kids’ understanding of faith. When we choose to be intentional, even in small, simple ways, we help our children experience that Easter is not just about celebration, but about love, sacrifice, and the promise of new life.

In this month’s Parenting Class, we talk about learning to reflect as we head into Easter. We encourage slowing down in a season that naturally speeds up. We talk about how to intentionally lead our kids to focus on what matters most. We explore three simple ways to do that: reflecting on our focus by fixing our eyes on Jesus, reflecting on our decisions by creating calmer, more intentional rhythms at home, and reflecting on Jesus Himself in age-appropriate, honest conversations about His love and sacrifice. This video will encourage you that it doesn’t have to be perfect or complicated; it just needs to be intentional. It’ll also remind you that every small moment of faithfulness is planting seeds in your child’s heart.
