Extreme Gift Counting

Getting Started:

• Extreme Counting games can be played in a head-to-head fashion, or with the entire ground. Whatever works best for your needs! 

• Tell your students to keep an eye on the screen and tell them to keep track of how many gift boxes appear. At this point, you can hit a few letter keys on the keyboard to launch some gifts to give them an example. Do this slowly so they'll think it's easy. Then, hit the spacebar to start (NOTE: Gifts that are launched when the Christmas music is playing won't be counted). 
• This will start some crazy music and dim the screen a bit. While that music is playing, hit any letter key on your keyboard to launch a gift. Keep doing this until you feel like your students have had enough. 
• To stop the game, hit the spacebar again. This will return everything back to Christmas music. Gifts launched while the nice music is playing won't be counted in the final score. To show the final score, hit the ENTER key on your keyboard. This will show how many gifts appeared on the screen during the last round. 
• To get rid of the score, just hit the ENTER key again. The number will be reset to zero. When you're ready, hit the spacebar and start again! The students who get closest to the number without going over will win!
