Common Mythstake is an easy-to-run, high-participation movement game that exposes the wild things people believe without ever checking the facts. Each round, a bold statement appears on the screen—some sound totally reasonable but are common myths, while others seem absurd but are shockingly true. Students have to commit by physically moving left or right to vote “True” or “Mythstake,” and only those who guess correctly stay in. It is instant energy: everyone is on their feet, reacting, arguing, and laughing as they discover which “facts” they have believed their whole lives are actually wrong.
