Your students may know their share of abbreviations, but can they sound out real words?

In "Sound It Out!" every round flashes a strange mix of letters, numbers, and punctuation marks on screen — but don’t overthink it! The secret is to say it out loud and use the photos as context clues.

Players or teams shout their guesses as they try to decode what the message really says... from “I 8 2 MCH!” to "I HF-NT N-E N-R-G.” The faster players can sound it out, the better.
