    Heather loves Jesus, youth ministry, teaching God’s Word, laughing at silly things, and eating at Indian lunch buffets. She holds a master’s degree in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University and is a gifted writer, teacher, and speaker with over fifteen years of youth ministry experience. Heather has turned her passion for teaching and sharing the Jewish roots of the Christian faith into founding First Century Youth Ministry with the goal of inspiring youth pastors and leaders to become grounded in the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and, in doing so, have a deeper love for the whole Bible. When she’s not writing, speaking, or leading trips to Israel, Heather stays busy sharing her incredible book (First-Century Youth Ministry: Exploring Our Jewish Roots to Reclaim Discipleship) with the world, leading one of her seven-week coaching cohorts, hosting an episode of The First-Century Youth Ministry Podcast, contributing to the First-Century Youth Ministry blog, working at a staff consultant with Ministry Architects, or pouring herself into her first and greatest ministry of wife to Rodrigo and mom to their daughter, Adah.
