You can only move when it's night time! That's the number one rule of the game. Clear out your youth room and split the floor into four large sections with tape. Take four decks of cards and spread them out all over four sections. Challenge your students to find every card of one suit (Ace through King). You cannot move in a section that is daytime on the screen. If you do, you're out! The first student (or group) to collect all 13 cards of the same suit will win!

What makes this a premium game?

Premium games are those that you can play over and over again as the outcomes of our premium games are never the same! Watch the video to the left to learn all about how this premium game works. Games that are "one and done" are a part of our Classic Game catalog and those can be seen here.

  • Getting Started:

    • You can do this however you'd like. It's pretty much whatever works best for your space. I would use painter's tape to mark off four large squares on the floor. They should all share their inner walls (i.e. a giant plus in the middle.) They should also be large enough so everyone in your youth group can fit in them. This is just so they can look at the screen and see which sections are daytime and nighttime. You'll also need four or more decks of cards. Shuffle all four decks together into one mega deck. That way, when you spread them out on the floor, it's not guaranteed that every section will have all of the cards needed.

    Instructions:

    • As always, this is just a suggestion. You're free to change it however you'd like (or do something entirely different). This is just to give you an idea to get started. Tell you students that they have to find all 13 cards of a single suit (i.e. Ace of Hearts through King of Hearts). The first person (or group) to do this will win.
    • The only rule is that they cannot move in a section that is marked as daytime on the screen. They can only move at night time. If a section becomes daytime and you catch a student moving, they're out! They have to give you their cards to prevent another student from just grabbing an almost completed set. The person running the game can use the keyboard to shift the nighttime around to different sections. You can even make it nighttime or daytime for the entire floor.
    • Hitting the Spacebar will shift between a full night and a full day. The arrow keys will move the nighttime around.
