Avery Bowman

Avery Bowman has served in Student Ministry for over 7 years. Most of those years were at the East Asheville Campus of Biltmore Church. There, he served as the Associate Campus Pastor. His role included serving as their Student Pastor, as well as the College and Young Adult Ministries.

As of January 2026, Avery is now the Associate Pastor for Legacy Hills Church—a new Church Plant sent out from Biltmore Church to Travelers Rest, S.C. There, he will continue to live out one of his greatest passions: seeing the Gospel change students’ lives.
Avery holds a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Counseling and a B.S. in Youth Ministries from Liberty University. He enjoys backpacking, snow skiing, and shooting shotguns. Avery has been married to his wife, Sarah, and they have two amazing kids—Fletcher and Ivy.
