THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

The world looks a certain way. The status quo. It is what it is. Things will never change.
Until it does.
Something happens. Something big. A complete 180° turn from death to life.
That something is Jesus Christ.

This summer, students will encounter How It Was, creation longing for a means of redemption, trapped in a cycle of personal sin and hollow sacrifice (Romans 3:23, Genesis 1, Psalm 14:1-3).

They will discover How It Changed, how the Messiah came into the world and delivered good news of great joy: we are reconciled with him through his blood (Ephesians 1:7-10, Galatians 4:4-7).

Students will dive into How It Is, how we walk in newness of life, how we stand for truth and lay down our lives for the Gospel (Colossians 3:12-15, James 1:2-4, Ezekiel 36:26).

And finally, we’ll explore How It Will Be, the future hope of all things being made new that is coming to fruition even now (Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Revelation 22:1-5).

Jesus shifts our attitudes. Jesus revolutionizes our thoughts. Jesus reconstructs our words. He gives us a new song. From a heart of stone to a heart of flesh. We are fully, utterly, absolutely, to our very core transformed.

Because now, nothing can ever be the same.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17

What is GENERATE Camp all about?

It’s a great time to be serving students. First, there are ample resources, and even many more excellent camps available to serve your needs. Second, this time is important for critical faith formation in your students’ lives. At GENERATE, our team will work hard to serve you and your needs with excellence, while creating an experience that will impact the other 51-weeks of your ministry year. We are strategic and intentional in creating experiences where the name of Jesus is lifted up, where the Gospel is proclaimed through the preaching and studying of the Word, where students are encouraged to take the next step in their faith journey, and where they are challenged to be a person of global impact. These experiences happen in times of personal devotion; in small group times of reading, listening, and responding; in group/community building and serving; in times of corporate worship; and in strategic times with your church.

In the end, a camp can’t really change a life. But a true experience with God can. At GENERATE, we don’t want to simply create moments; we want to partner with you, and the Holy Spirit, to create moments that matter.

So which camp option is best for our group between CONNECT, SERVE, GUIDE, LEAD or EXPLORE?

You know your students and their needs best. So we've created five unique GENERATE Camp options for you to choose from.

CONNECT is a great option for community building within your group. Groups in this option (called “villages”) will be in Bible study for part of the day, and will also participate in group building activities, all lead by your adult leaders. As the group leader, you decide if you want your students combined with other students from other churches (called “combined”) or if you want your students to be in villages of just students from your church (called “independent”).

SERVE allows your group to get off campus and serve for much of the day with one of our Community Partners (our team will take care of the details). In this option, your “village” will be students just from your church.

EXPLORE allows you to decide how you want to spend your day from 10:00am though dinner. If you want to be off campus enjoying what the region has to offer, go for it! In this option, your students will also be in villages with students from your group. Note: Your selection needs to be for the entire week rather than by the day.

GUIDE is the best option for churches who desire to work in cooperation with the GENERATE staff. Instead of your adult chaperones leading your students in Bible study, recreation group building activities, and worship pre-gatherings, one of our Village Guides (a Generate staff member) will shepherd your group. Adults from your church will still be involved as participants with your students during the daily recreation session, maintaining a 1:5 student to adult ratio. All groups that choose the GUIDE option will be combined with students from other churches.

LEAD TEAM One of the best ways to learn to be a disciple-maker is to learn alongside other disciple-makers. LEAD TEAMS allow for a small group of older students (10th grade and older) to be a part of GENERATE by serving alongside our staff. Your group will participate in staff devotions, meetings, development, worship, and areas of concentration such as production, recreation and support roles. Additionally each student will receive t-shirt, a selected book about serving, endorsements for future employment and spend time in mentor-ship moments with a staff member. LEAD TEAMS are limited to 20 spaces per week of camp.

With many camp options and many camp styles, why choose GENERATE?

You as a leader need to simply find what model camp best fits your needs for your ministry. At GENERATE we are intentional with every aspect of the camp experience. Our number one goal is to support you and your local ministry. You know your students best, so we strive to give you plenty of options to meet them where they are and challenge them to take the next step in their faith journey. We also know that you and the adults in your group are the ones who go home with your students, so we design the camp experience to make sure community, relationships and connection continue at home. Although our staff may be awesome at reaching out to your students, our prayer is for you and the adults in your group to be the true heroes of the week. Our team is here to support you and your team.

Price. We know budgets are extremely important. We're positioned to deliver you a top-notch quality camp experience at a price that is sure to save you some big budget money. Plus, to celebrate our launch, we've got some incredible value in our early-bird promotions.

What are the age groups for students attending GENERATE Camp?

GENERATE Camp is designed for students that are 7th-12 graders, graduates, and the adults that come with the group. What about the upcoming 6th graders in your group you ask? Whether you promote 6th graders prior to the summer or after, they will be classified as 7th graders and would be welcome to join us for the week.

TCE_WHAT WE BELIEVE
what we believe about the bible

The Bible is God’s Word. It is His primary means of communicating His story of redemption and love to the world. God inspired men to write the Bible. As such, it is perfectly sufficient in guiding and instructing God’s children in every circumstance. God’s Word teaches us about His character, the history of His interaction in the affairs of humankind, and His eternal plan to redeem His children from their sin through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus.

At youthministry360 we believe a solid understanding of the Bible is foundational for teenagers. You’ll find GENERATE to be a Scripture-rich environment. Your students will encounter God in His Word, and be challenged to apply what they learn.

What We Believe About God and the Trinity

God is the one, Supreme Being who rules over all creation. God exists in three persons, The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each unique, yet without division. God is Creator, the author of all life. He is perfect in all His attributes. His glory is renowned. And God is immutable; He never changes. His people can take confidence in knowing God is, has always been, and will always be. His nature and character are eternal.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, shares the Father’s eternal nature. Yet, He took on physical form, being incarnated as a man, and dwelled on this earth, both fully God and fully human. God fulfilled His plan of grace, salvation, and redemption through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God at work in this world. The Spirit works within a person’s life to call them to salvation and subsequently indwells all who believe. The Spirit illuminates the truth of Scripture, empowers people to do the work of the Lord, convicts believers of sin and righteousness, and serves as a seal of the inheritance God has promised to all who believe.

At youthministry360 our desire is for teenagers to know all of God, personally and powerfully, and for this knowledge to have a dramatic impact on their lives. At GENERATE, we work hard to create an environment where your students can encounter God, and be moved by the experience.

What We Believe About Salvation

The sin of humankind effectively puts a barrier between God and people. And Scripture is clear: the penalty for sin is death. But the Lord, in all His sovereignty, had a plan set in motion before time to provide a means by which the sin of humankind might be atoned for, thus providing salvation for people.

God’s ultimate expression of His desire to redeem humankind from their sin came in the form of His Son, Jesus. Through Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross, we are made clean. In His mercy, God accepts Jesus’ payment on our behalf. And because of His great love for us, God has made salvation available to us by grace through faith. Salvation cannot be obtained by any other means. By professing faith in Christ, we are literally made new; our old self is put to death.

Ultimately, Christ will once again return to this earth, ushering in the reign of God over all humankind. Scripture tells us that Jesus will one day gather up His children to dwell with God forever in heaven, perfected and finally freed from the trappings of the World. When Christ does return, there will be a time of judgment where all those who rejected Christ will be condemned to eternal separation from Him, and all those who professed Christ as Lord will live in eternal communion with Him.

At youthministry360 our desire is to see teenagers come to faith in Christ and to grow in that faith. GENERATE is a place where the Gospel is at work. Your students will have many chances to meet God, and respond to Him.

What We Believe About the Church

We believe the Church, the global body of all who believe in Jesus Christ, is the primary expression of God’s work in this world. God has chosen the Church to be His hands and feet, spreading the news of the Gospel, ministering to those in need, and serving as a standard of holiness and righteousness in a fallen world.

At youthministry360, we exist to support the local church, particularly the men and women serving as youth workers or youth pastors within churches all across the country. GENERATE is a reflection of this.

What We Believe About Compassion Toward the Least

We believe all of Scripture clearly reflects God’s attitude towards the sick, the poor, the outcast…in essence, the “least of these.” In both the Old and New Testament, Scripture calls the children of God to be especially mindful of the poor and the destitute. Scripture attests that our salvation is evidenced by spiritual fruit. And some of the most meaningful fruit is to sacrificially give of one’s time, money, and talents in order to share the love of God with those who may be the most unloved. By doing so, God’s Kingdom is radically and dramatically furthered on this earth.

At youthministry360 we desire to see teenager’s live out their faith in ways that seek to minister to the poor, the lost, the sick, the outcast, and the downcast. At GENERATE, your students will have the opportunity to pray for, serve, and support those in need.
