Asbury Church is currently seeking a Director of Children’s Ministry. This position is responsible for facilitating weekly ministry programs, preparing, and teaching lessons or talks, organizing, and preparing for annual events, and understanding the heart of a child, while building relationships and care for our children, parents, and volunteers!
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or Christian Studies with emphasis in Children Ministries preferred.
- Exemplify the church’s values and uphold the staff covenant.
- At least three to five years of directly related experience supervising similar program preferred.
- Relational team builder
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Proven ability to conduct crucial conversations to resolve delicate personal issues.
- Exceptional interpersonal and soft skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work quickly.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in fast paced environment.
