What is the Bible to your teens? Is it a history book? A collection of moral thoughts and sayings? Or just a bunch of glorified fairytales? Here's a thought: it's none of these. The Bible is the record of God's interaction with REAL people. And by taking a look at these people's lives, we can learn a ton about God—and about us.
(OT)Encounters: Devotions on (Awesome) Old Testament People is a journey through the lives of some of the most interesting people from the Old Testament. In every encounter, teens will focus on one key truth from the character's life. And they'll be challenged to apply this truth to their life, changing the way they engage with God.
Your students will study these Biblical figures: Noah, Samson, Abraham, Ruth, Sarah, Samuel, Job, Saul, Esau, David, Joseph, Moses, Solomon, Joshua, Caleb, Jonah, Rahab, Daniel, Gideon, and Esther.
