Lead in programming, discipleship and evangelism toward high school students while working alongside the youth ministry director

  • proficiency with computers & Microsoft Office
  • have a college equivalent bachelor’s degree
  • baptized as a believer by immersion (or will within a year)
  • live in Stow or a bordering community within a year

Responsibilities:

  • be prompt, prepared and participatory for all ministry appointments and staff meetings
  • humbly and cheerfully execute any additional duties as assigned
  • engage relationally with high school students
  • develop outreach and evangelism strategy for Redemption YTH alongside YTH Ministry Director and apply strategy to high school ministry
  • oversee student small groups which includes communicating consistently with leaders, writing curriculum, and assist in recruiting and training leaders
  • oversee volunteer care including leader communication of events and responsibilities, organizing leader appreciation events and meeting with volunteers one-on-one regularly
  • planning and execution of high school ministry programs, events, and initiatives
  • attend and lead at Gather (high school youth group) every Sunday night
  • on-stage duties at Gather and YTH events including hosting, leading games/activities and teaching
  • assist planning and execution of YTH ministry retreats
  • lead planning and execution of high school summer mission trip
  • assist in YTH digital publications including social media, podcast and YouTube channel

  • reports to YTH Ministry Director
